Enterprise deployment data
Where Synvara provides on-premise, sovereign cloud, or hybrid deployment services, data processed within those environments is governed by the applicable Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") — not this Policy. Synvara acts as a data processor in those contexts.

We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human review.
Sharing & Disclosure
Synvara does not sell, rent, or broker personal information. We may share data in limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Infrastructure and communication providers operating under data processing agreements (e.g., Cloudflare for CDN and edge compute, SendGrid for transactional email). These providers are contractually restricted from using data for their own purposes.
- Legal requirements: Where required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority, and only to the minimum extent necessary.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of Synvara assets — with advance notice provided where legally required.
- With your consent: Any other sharing will be with your explicit prior consent.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this Policy or as required by law:
- Contact form data: Retained for 24 months from the date of submission, unless an active engagement requires longer retention.
- Server and access logs: Retained for up to 90 days.
- Active client records: Retained for the duration of the engagement plus any applicable statutory retention period.
You may request deletion of your personal information at any time. See Your Rights below.
Security
Synvara applies technical and organizational security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of data processed:
- All data in transit encrypted via TLS 1.2+ through Cloudflare's edge network
- Contact form submissions routed through Cloudflare Workers with server-side validation
- API secrets stored as encrypted environment variables, never in source code or build artifacts
- Access to production systems restricted via Zero Trust identity verification
No transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
